Services

I take on projects end to end, from working out what needs building to handing it over. Most clients are small and medium-sized businesses in the UK and Europe.

Zoho and CRM systems

For businesses whose Zoho account has grown messy, or who are moving onto Zoho from something older.

  • Audits and clean-ups of years of mixed CRM data, with duplicates, gaps and broken links fixed
  • Zoho CRM, Books, Inventory and Commerce wired together so stock, orders and invoices agree
  • Deluge custom functions, Blueprints and workflow rules for the processes your team repeats
  • Migrations from Act!, Access and spreadsheets without losing history

Tools: Zoho One, CRM, Books, Inventory, Commerce, Forms, Sign, Deluge

Automation and integrations

For teams copying data between tools by hand, or running a process that only works when someone remembers to do it.

  • n8n workflows that run on a schedule or a webhook and move data between your systems
  • Integrations with the APIs you already pay for: accounting, CRM, Airtable, Slack, email and more
  • Retries, duplicate protection and nightly checks so a failed run is caught, not discovered weeks later
  • Alerts by email, Slack or Telegram when something needs a person

Tools: n8n, REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, Airtable, Supabase, Postgres

AI and Claude integrations

For businesses that want AI doing real work, with clear rules about what it can decide alone and what needs approval.

  • Claude agents that read documents, compare them against your records and flag problems
  • Custom MCP servers that give Claude safe, tested access to your own data and business rules
  • Scheduled AI tasks: daily digests, triage of incoming requests, first drafts for review
  • A clear split between AI judgement and fixed calculations, so the numbers are always reproducible

Tools: Claude, Claude Code, MCP, Python, FastAPI

Custom software and data

For problems that off-the-shelf tools don't cover, or data that needs heavy lifting.

  • .NET Web APIs and background services, built with tests and documentation
  • Python data pipelines, scrapers and matching tools for messy product or property data
  • SQL Server, MySQL and Postgres design, tuning and repair
  • Web front ends in React, Angular or Blazor

Tools: .NET, C#, Python, SQL Server, Postgres, React, Angular, Blazor

How a project runs

  1. Talk it through

A call to understand how your business runs and where the time goes. I've worked as a business analyst, so this part matters to me.

  2. Written plan

A short document with what I'll build, in phases, with an estimate for each. You decide what goes ahead.

  3. Build in phases

Each phase is usable on its own. You get a written summary at the end of each working day.

  4. Handover

Documentation, tests and a walkthrough, so your team, or another developer, can look after it.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the problem in plain words. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help and what it might involve.
